All children from Reception Class to Year 6 at St. Cuthbert's have a packed lunch or school meal at lunchtime. All children in Reception Class, Year 1 and Year 2 are entitled to a free school meal through the Universal Infant Free School Meals programme. If you have a child in year 3, 4, 5 or 6 you may be able to apply for free school meals, you can find further information on the North Tyneside website or by contacting Miss Taylor in the school office on 0191 691 9876.

We work with Hutchison Catering to provide school meals. We chose to go into partnership with Hutchison Catering after a thorough procurement process and we are delighted to work with a local, family run business who have lots of experience cooking for children in schools across the North East. Our children and families use the Appetite App to pre-order meals and to manage accounts and to check additional information about meals such as ingredients and nutritional information. You will get instructions on how to set up and use the Appetite App once your child joins us at St. Cuthbert's.
